Mercedes-Benz of Indianapolis is seeking a full-time Parts Counter Advisor to join our team. We have been a family owned and operated dealership since 1968 and have a great team of employees who have many years of tenure within our company.

Responsibilities / Qualifications:

• Automotive parts and electronic parts catalog knowledge
• Automotive parts: 2 years (Preferred)
• CDK: 2 years (Preferred)
• MPI: 2 years (Preferred)
•  Maintain a balanced inventory for the service department
•  Monitor and maintain proper parts inventory for maximum turn rate and minimal obsolescence
• Monitors and enforces special ordering of parts
• Work with service manager and service advisors to meet parts demands
• Support technicians parts needs
• Coordinates an efficient and timely flow of paperwork
• Be able to communicate properly with the service advisors and technicians
•  Coordinate and facilitate in the return of parts to the manufacturer
•  Be willing to attend paid factory training
•  Be detail oriented, precise, and organized
• At least 1-2 years service / parts experience
• Valid US Driver's License with good driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Pass drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Minimum of two years' experience as either a technician and preferably as a Mercedes-Benz technician
• Perform assigned work in a reasonable amount of time
• Perform quality work in unity with our standards and the factory's
• Document all work performed
• Be able to communicate properly with the service advisor and parts department
• Be willing to attend paid factory training
• Present well since you will interact with our Customers
• Have a super friendly, happy, smiley and "I can help" type of attitude
• Be totally dedicated to the job and not afraid of working hard and long hours
• Be very detail oriented, precise, organized and super clean
• Valid US Driver's License with good driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Pass drug screen
